Our youngest guests discover one surprise after another on interactive trails and fairy-tale pathways, making it easy to forget the actual walking involved ...

Bigger "kids" are drawn by alpine summits above 2500 meters, exciting theme hikes (such as "Wild Waters"), and thrilling adventures on via ferrata fixed-cable climbs on the Dachstein.

One more highlight: A lift ride up the Dachstein Glacier (1 free ride with the Sommercard!), including visits to the Sky Walk, the Ice Palace, and a glacier hike to the Dachsteinwarte. Numerous mountain huts and hikers' refuges invite you to stop in, relax and enjoy refreshments. Styrian-style cheese pasties, Raungerl and "hut coffee" are typical specialties of the Ennstal Valley you simply have to try!

After a delectable breakfast in the morning sun next to the castle pond, it will be time to head out to Sölktäler Nature Park, once the private refuge of a former owner of our castle, Prince Colloredo-Mannsfeld.
