In every nook and cranny, there are so many exciting and fascinating things to discover: suits of armor, a scary "dungeon" and our castle ghost "Boo", who can be summoned by clapping beneath the vaulted ceilings. Ernst, the lord of the castle, has many interesting stories to tell and will share some of the castle's secrets with you. 

The included children's activities are coordinated with our relaxation and hiking program. Which gives parents, if they wish, plenty of space to recharge their own personal batteries.

The Schrempf family don't merely say that their castle is a family paradise, they also live child-friendliness in everything they do.

The children's program is a big hit with all the kids ages 4 and up - including a Ghost Afternoon, shooting with a crossbow, rides at a pony stable, fishing with Ernst, the lord of the castle, and more.

During their stay, your children will also receive ghost costumes to borrow!

We definitely don't ignore our teen guests! Every day brings a new adventure! Aside from the many activities included in our children's program, there are countless opportunities for adventures and excursions, both in and around the castle. Our castle is proud to offer teens an extraordinary activity program in the Schladming-Dachstein Region, one that is tailored precisely to their personal interests.

Our Youth Club Room, with a pool table, PlayStation, digital projector, screen, and a giant chill couch, is a popular meeting place with all of the castle's teen guests.

The Kemenaten (family rooms) have 2 to 3 separate bedrooms, while our Gemächer (suites) feature a living room with sofa-bed and a separate bedroom. Ideal for families with small children.

Children up to age 4 stay in their parents' (double-) room for free, incl. a cot/child bed. High chairs, baby monitors, rockers etc. are available as needed.

Each room also includes free parking on the castle grounds!

The food we serve at our castle is definitely one of Styria's insider tips. Enjoy a delicious meal in our comfortable guest lounge, out on the sun-terrace next to a pond, or in a historical dining room beneath vaulted ceilings dating back to the year 1150.

Your youngsters will have their own children's buffet with freshly prepared, healthy ingredients, meaning they will never have to wait for long. While parents enjoy their own gourmet meal, if they wish the kids can explore a special play world created just for them, offering lots of exciting toys, adventures and even crossbow competitions.
